Veterans Path to Hope Receives $5,000 Grant from Homes for Heroes Foundation
The Homes for Heroes Foundation awarded the Veterans Path to Hope a $5,000 grant to offer military veterans and service members housing assistance through their Veterans Community Action Team. This program offers military members in need a place to stay and they deliver an entire household of furniture, two weeks of food, and all of the other items one would need to feel at home.

National Center for Healthy Veterans Receives $150,000 Grant Pledge from the Homes for Heroes Foundation
The Homes for Heroes Foundation awarded its second legacy grant to the National Center for Healthy Veterans (NCHV) with a pledge of $150,000 to be awarded in three payments over three years from 2024 – 2026. These funds will help to support the transformative programs offered by NCHV at Valor Farm in Altavista, VA, and in the development of what they refer to as, “Village II”.
Operation Stand Down Tennessee Receives $5,000 Grant
Operation Stand Down Tennessee supports Veteran families with children in helping prevent homelessness or rapidly rehouse after homelessness through professional case management and financial assistance for rent and housing deposits, utilities and related deposits, moving expenses, and other housing-related expenses. The Homes for Heroes Foundation grant will be used to help fund these programs.

Semper Fi & America’s Fund Receives $5,000 Grant
The Semper Fi & American’s Fund was established in 2003 by military spouses who volunteered to provide bedside support to wounded and injured military service members. They are a nationwide nonprofit who has provided immediate financial assistance and lifelong support to over 32,000 critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and their families. The Homes for Heroes Foundation grant will be used to help fund these Semper Fi & America’s Fund programs and services.

Upstate Warrior Solution Receives $5,000 Grant
Upstate Warrior Solution is a community-based nonprofit serving military veterans and first responders, plus their families in the upstate of South Carolina. Since 2013, they have served nearly 9,000 warriors and their families with housing, employment, healthcare, education, family support and more. The Homes for Heroes Foundation awarded a grant to Upstate Warrior Solution to assist a law enforcement member and his family after he was shot on a routine traffic stop.
Blue Star Families Receives $25,000 Grant from Homes for Heroes Foundation
Founded in 2009 by military spouses with military families in mind, Blue Star Families empower families to thrive by connecting them with their civilian neighbors; including both people and organizations, to create strong, vibrant communities of mutual support. Frequent moves and deployments make it challenging for military families to establish community roots. Blue Star Families is helping military families overcome these challenges. As of today, since 2009, the benefits distributed by Blue Star Families exceeds $158 million provided for military families, and that includes support for over 1.5 million family members served annually.
