For the second year in a row, Homes for Heroes is pleased to announce that our National Director, Abby Waltz picked up her second RISMedia Newsmakers Crusader Award!
This year, RIS Media recognized Abby as a “Crusader” in the real estate industry, the same designation she achieved in 2022. Under the leadership of Abby Waltz, Homes for Heroes achieved three major milestones in 2022, the company’s 20th year in business, including: providing $100 million-plus in Hero Rewards to over 50,000 heroes and their families and $1 million-plus in Foundation Grants to heroes in dire need of housing assistance.
When asked what she’s most proud of, Waltz said: “Without a doubt, it’s being able to help our 4,500 real estate and mortgage professionals all over the country successfully grow their business with purpose, by serving and thanking their local community heroes.”
Abby is also a recognized author in the housing finance space, authoring regular columns for readers of The MReport. Abby’s current accolade is featured in the February issue of RISMedia magazine.
RISMedia recognized Abby for her tireless and passionate commitment to the Homes for Heroes mission.
