Homes for Heroes Foundation Surpasses $1 Million in Grants
Since 2015, Homes for Heroes Foundation has been providing assistance to heroes in the community. What began as critical housing assistance on an individual basis has evolved to monthly $5,000 to $10,000 grants from the Foundation to nonprofits across the country. As the needs of heroes grew, so did the need to increase the grants. The Homes for Heroes Foundation is proud to announce that they surpassed $1 million in grants in December, 2021.

Million Dollar Teacher Project is Latest Recipient of Foundation Grant
As part of their Circle of Giving, the Homes for Heroes Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to the Million Dollar Teacher Project operating in Arizona.
The Million Dollar Teacher Project was founded five years ago by Executive Director Lloyd Hopkins. Hopkins has spent 18 years in education, from working with youth offenders, after school recreation programs, and drop out prevention.
